    We are looking for a Business Analyst /Quality Analyst with experience and understanding in developing business, functional, and non-functional requirements, including creating the Requirements Traceability Matrix along with gathering and validating requirements through workshops and meetings.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, and project teams to understand Enforcement and Neighborhood Services business processes, goals, and objectives and elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
    • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather and validate requirements.
    • Ensure all requirements are documented, prioritized, and communicated to the development team.
    • Continuously monitor and manage changes to requirements using Jira.
    • Take ownership of creating comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough testing of software solutions.
    • Execute system testing and collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
    • Support the testing phase by participating in user acceptance testing.
    • Provide ongoing support to stakeholders and address any issues or concerns related to requirements.
    • Actively contribute to improving and standardizing the business analysis processes within the organization.
    • Collection and documentation of system requirements; coordinating and facilitating Joint Application Development, Detail Design Sessions, use of specialized software for tracking system changes, maintaining documentation, organizing testing efforts; creation of training and standard operating procedures materials.
    • Business Process Re-engineering; Business Architecture Modeling; Business Analysis; Work in cooperation with Project Management; Liaison with Business Partners program areas.
    • Plan, coordinate and facilitate session reviews of existing system and potential new system and/or system requirements.
    • Document business process requirements and process diagram flows, review business policy and procedure documentation, create/update documentation as needed and review with business partner and IT administrator resources.
    • Performs Business Process Reengineering including assessment of existing business processes determination of future state, gap analysis and assessment, and detailed system design activities needed to support the business systems.
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of enterprise data objects and attributes.
    • Work with business stakeholders to define functional data needs for the creation of data marts for business intelligence tools.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • 8+ years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, and/or process design and/or application testing.
    • Experience developing business, functional, and non-functional requirements
    • Experience developing Requirements Traceability Matrix
    • Experience developing Training and Standard Operating Procedures materials
    • Experience working to facilitate collaboration across executive, business, and technical resources
    • Excellent people skills and the ability to provide leadership in a collaborative, team driven approach
    • Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements doc Enter, manage, and report on user stories in Jira, aligned to the Sprint cadence.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, should be able to discuss business needs to both technical and non-technical staff
    • Experience with testing efforts to include test plan, test scenarios and organizing users to facilitate effective tests.
    • Experience with Agile methodology
    • Experience with PM methodologies and/or managing & tracking a project against a project plan
    • Independent thinking and decision-making skills
    • Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-volume environment and the ability to adapt plans to unexpected changes
