    Genius Talent has partnered with a federally-chartered credit union who is seeking a skilled Senior ETL Administrator This Senior ETL Administrator will design, develop, and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes crucial for integrating data into our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). This role involves troubleshooting ETL and data integration issues, maintaining the data's quality and integrity, and ensuring the operational effectiveness of the EDW. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Data Science team members, Database Administrators, and business stakeholders to craft data solutions that support our business needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement and enforce data governance, ensuring secure and compliant data management practices.
    • Support and maintain SQL Server-based ETL processes for the data warehouse.
    • Design and execute data ingestion processes to consolidate information into the EDW, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Conduct thorough root cause analysis to address and resolve ETL and data processing issues.
    • Proactively monitor and manage nightly data processing, addressing any disruptions swiftly.
    • Coordinate with database administrators to optimize data storage and database performance.
    • Utilize SQL and other data warehouse tools to maintain system integrity and synchronization across diverse systems.
    • Develop and maintain ETL procedures for new data sources, ensuring alignment with business requirements and standards.
    • Craft detailed documentation, including metadata, entity relationship diagrams, and process flows.
    • Design, execute, and oversee testing protocols from unit to integration levels, ensuring robust data warehouse functionality.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of five years' experience in database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) focusing on data warehousing techniques and ETL process management.
    • Proficient in ETL development and administration with experience in tools such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SSIS.
    • Solid understanding of data modeling, integration best practices, and at least one year of experience in data governance and security.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot ETL issues.
    • Adaptability to new technologies and a quick learner of new tools and software.
    • Experience in CI/CD and version control tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Bamboo, GitHub) is preferred.
    • Microsoft certification in database administration is highly desirable.
