- Be socially and culturally sensitive to communicate effectively with ethnically and economically diverse patient-and-employee base
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service both internally and externally and in accordance with organization's mission
- Provide complete, comprehensive outpatient care for dental/oral conditions to include oral examination and treatment of conditions, as well as follow up care
- Make appropriate referrals to internal disciplines and/or external resources/agencies for additional services required
- Instruct assigned dental assistants
- Provide dental consultation to other providers within the center, as needed
- Participates in dental outreach activities, as assigned
- Participates in on-call system for after-hours care for established patients of the practice
- Assures dental policies as related to services are current and accurate
Qualifications:
- Full licensure to practice dentistry in the State of Kansas
- Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry
- Completion of an accredited general practice residency preferred
- A strong community/public health orientation, preferred
- Commitment to serving the underserved

Carmel Regional Medical Center, the hospital Mother Mary Bernard Sheridan, a Sister of St. Joseph, founded in 1903.
