- You will assist the surgeon during C-sections and ensure the surgical suite is adequately prepared for C-sections.
- You will consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environmentmaking surelabor and delivery and or Mother/Baby rooms are adequately stocked and prepared.
- You will clean, wrap, and sends all instruments to Central Sterile for sterilization.
- You will obtain or assist the nursing staff as needed.
- You will follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.
- You will participate in department process improvement activities.
