    As an early engineer to join our team, you'll have the opportunity to materially impact and scale not just the company's engineering but also the team and the culture.

    You'll get to drive key engineering initiatives end to end, and work alongside exceptionally strong co-workers who learn quickly and ship quality work.

    Your role

    You'll join a small-yet-mighty team of 11 as an engineering lead and go on own the entire devops platform


    This will involve:
    Working closely with many engineers across product, infra, and machine learning and gain a broad understanding of infrastructure requirements
    Help new hires with onboarding and continuously improve the Infrastructure onboarding experience
    Build automation and runbooks for many repeatable infrastructure tasks
    Being an experienced voice in defining engineering direction, culture and roadmap
    Monitor and refine our alerts and notifications for critical infrastructure services
    Being hungry for responsibility, growth, and impact
    You qualify if you have:

    3+ years of experience building cloud infrastructure on AWS
    1+ years experience with Terraform (Preferred, but not required)
    Experience building CI/CD pipelines
    Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres a plus
    Experience building infrastructure monitoring and alerting
    Ability to quickly learn new frameworks/technologies and move across the stack when necessary

    A 2-2.5 hour technical interview involving system design, coding, and debugging
    30-minute interview to see if we have a mutual cultural fit
    Chatting with two of your references: your previous coworkers/managers.
