    OverviewAs the Medical Assistant you will join a team of clinical professionals that assist with routine administrative and clinical tasks that help keep the office and practitioners running smoothly. You'll need to be flexible and adaptable to assist with patient exams and procedures and follow instructions from the physician.
    Responsibilities
    • Clean and prepare patient exam, consultation and operating rooms
    • Regularly assess all areas are clean, stocked and organized
    • Set up and break down surgery/procedure rooms
    • Take clinical photographs
    • Perform preoperative and postoperative patient care
    • Assist with bandaging, wound care, and suture removals
    • Maintain pharmacy inventory
    • Manage inventory by ordering and restocking all supplies and surgical equipment
    • Audit patient charts
    • Rooming and preparing patients for appointments and procedures
    • Obtain accurate patient vitals
    • Assist with dressing patients as needed
    • Supervise and escort patients during transition periods
    • Educate patients on pre and post procedure care instructions
    • Transport patients by wheelchair throughout the office and to vehicles
    • Process laundry for scrubs, towels, blankets and other items to wash, dry, fold and organize
    • Perform safe practices for medical waste disposal
    • Adhere to universal precautions and OSHA standards
    • Complete other projects/duties as assigned

    Qualifications and Skills
    • HS Diploma or equivalent
    • Medical Assistant degree or related healthcare degree
    • Proficient with medical terminology
    • Proficient taking patient vital records
    • Current BLS/CPR license
    • Current on required immunization records
    • Familiar with HIPAA standards
    • Professional written + verbal communication skills
    • Basic computer skills and use of Google and Microsoft Office Suite applications
    • Ability to lift 25 pounds

    Schedule: 40 Hours week, Monday - Thursday, between 6:00AM - 8:00PM
    Compensation: $ $24.00 Hourly
