    School BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) - Poughkeepsie, NY

    ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a skilled and passionate School BCBA to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans to support students with diverse needs within the school setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on assessment findings.
    • Provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians and paraprofessionals.
    • Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and other related service providers to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavior interventions.
    • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of student data, progress reports, and behavior plans.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
    • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
    • Experience working with children or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment.
