Job summary
Assist physicians in providing high-quality patient care.Responsibilities
Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks such as lab tracking and data entry,document management etc. Administers injections including vaccines and medications Educates and advises patients on specified medical issues within established parameters Schedules coordinates and tracks STAT patient referrals and pre-authorizations Maintains stock levels for medicines and medical supplies as needed Monitors audits vaccine refrigeration temperature Practices safety environmental or infection control methods Complies with OSHA DOH standards Complies with federal local confidentiality laws ensuring patient privacy Adheres to Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care guidelines for protecting patients demographic clinical financial information Provides superior customer service outstanding patient care Attend meetings workshops as they relate to current position office workflows Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Pay Range $18.13-$29.90 EEO Statement Brown University Health is committed to providing equal employment opportunities maintaining a work environment free from all forms of unlawful discrimination harassment Location Providence-208 Collyer Street - 208 Collyer Street Providence Rhode Island 02904 Work Type Day Daily Hours Work Shift Day Driving Required Yes
