Spend the summer at camp (housing included) Love sports teamwork and making a real impact on kids' lives As a Residential Camp Counselor at Camp Tracy and New England Sports Camp you'll be an essential part of creating a fun safe and unforgettable camp experience Counselors work closely with campers from Sunday through Friday including overnight helping children adjust grow and thrive within the program This is a hands-on high-energy role that includes leading daily activities supporting campers both on and off the field and living the camp life alongside them POSITION SUMMARY Assist with New England Sports Camps program activities as well as guiding/helping the children adjust and grow within the program guidelines Comply with participate fully in instruction of various
camp activities education programs Counselors will be expected to be with campers from Sunday to Friday.
Counselors are expected to be available for entire camp season staff training ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for group of children helping each child adjust grow other children within program guidelines Participate in daily cleaning duties which include cleaning cabins lodge eating area bathrooms common shower facility lodge upstairs & down emptying trash from lodge cabins general upkeep lodge sweeping wiping tables vacuuming etc final clean up close of cam Sleep in cabins provide overnight supervision edders Plan implement daily curriculum for edders become familiar emergency protocol accidents first aid etc Comply fully instruction swimming games various
camp activities education programs Ability communicate work all groups participating age skill level provide necessary instruction edders Maintain safety cleanliness discipline eaders areas equipment Aid providing safe healthy fun experience eaders Program Requirements SKILLS COMPETENCIES Skills necessary work groups eaders made different ages skill levels Problem solving Ability interact staff members all levels Team player Organizational skills Attention details Excellent communication skills Maintain confidentiality ability work independently Critical thinking Flexibility WORK SCEHDULE Sunday – Friday + Overnights days + overnights/week
