A school district near Plymouth, WI seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services to students during the upcoming school year.
This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.Location:
Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Position Type:
Contract (School Setting)
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
Provide direct therapy services both in-person and potentially via teletherapy
Track student progress and maintain accurate records
Participate in team meetings, consultations, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications And Experience
Masters degree (M.S.) in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid Wisconsin SLP license required
Previous experience in schools preferred but not mandatory
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is advantageous
Comfort working with pediatric populations and providing teletherapy services is a plus
Ability to manage caseload effectively; specific duties will be discussed during the interview
