- Assist in utility work including shoveling
- Help with installing water lines
- Support in setting up sewer lines
- Participate in backflow preventer installations
- Create and transport materials required for the job
- Assist the Service Plumber in interpreting blueprints and building specifications to plan pipe layouts, drainage systems, and plumbing materials in residential buildings
- Aid in installing supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures before actual installation
- Learn to assemble fittings and valves for installation and adjust the lengths of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials
- Collaborate with other construction workers in installing and fixing plumbing systems
- Learn to conduct tests, analysis, and inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and replace worn components
- Support in maintaining the Company vehicle in good working condition, including refueling and servicing when needed, reporting mechanical problems, and cleaning the vehicle regularly
- Execute other tasks delegated by management
- Standard work hours are Monday through Friday but must be open to working weekends, holidays, and afterhours as needed
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Capable of performing various physical tasks for extended periods
- Lift and carry material weighing up to 75 lbs; occasionally lift items over 100 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable climbing and using a ladder safely
- Good physical fitness, hand-eye coordination, and quick response to sounds
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
