    Slitting Machine Operator at EverStaff

    Job Details:
    • Shift: 1st Shift: 7am-4pm
    • Pay Rate: $17-$20 per hour
    • Summary: Operate a slitting machine to produce materials according to specifications. Training provided for independent machine operation.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Package and handle finished materials.
    • Assist in machinery setup.
    • Inspect machinery setup.
    • Operate the machine for product slitting.
    • Adjust machine settings.
    • Monitor operations for defects.
    • Complete work orders and reports.
    • Ensure safety protocols.
    • Follow management's directives.
    Skills and Requirements:
    • Experience in tow motor driving.
    • Ability to read measuring devices.
    • Mathematical skills.
    • Adaptability in production.
    • Knowledge of safety procedures.
    • Preferable experience in metal and machinery.
    • Punctuality and reliability.
    Education Requirements:
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Forklift Certification a plus.
    • Basic computer skills preferred.
    Physical Demands:
    • Manual dexterity with tools.
    • Lifting objects of varying weights.
    • Specific vision abilities required.
    • Safety precautions for working conditions.
    • Physical exertion.
