Uses predetermined methods, operations and prescribed technical data to inspect and test aircraft
components (in-process and completed assemblies, sub-assemblies and detail parts); assures repairs or
modifications are accomplished according to applicable data acceptable to the FAA administrator, e.g.
component maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, structural repair manuals, customer specifications,
drawings, diagrams, or inspection instructions and checklists. Uses various measuring devices
throughout the process; rejects components found with defects or malfunctions which require additional
operations or re-work; accepts and certifies components that are determined airworthy.

Qualifications:
Know, understand and be capable of providing instruction on company and department policies
and safety procedures.
Examines assemblies, components, installations, and mechanically energized accessories to
ensure that workmanship, processes, and materials conform to contractual requirements.
Ensure inspection forms, required FAA forms, maintenance releases, FAI forms and other
applicable documentation are completed properly.
Ensure inspection, testing and measuring equipment used on aircraft applications are properly
and regularly calibrated and take necessary action when equipment is found out-of-calibration.
Provide continuous surveillance of assigned areas to assure compliance to approved tech data
and other procedural requirements.
Perform internal audits as assigned by the Quality Engineer.
Act as a consultant regarding technical matters.
Other various duties as needed or assigned
Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR"), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions.
