    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Material Handling 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization
    This leadership role is onsite in Clearfield, Utah.
    Role Definition The Manager Material Handling 2 supervises employees who use a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse, as well as supervises employees who maintain records and check invoices or bills of lading
    Additionally, this leader oversees the processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment, and may assist in selecting appropriate containers and wrapping methods for materials to be shipped or stored
    Coordination with engineers, shippers, carton manufacturers, and carpenters for special crating and packing requirements is necessary
    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage team to company goals using KPI's
    • Oversees the day-to-day workflow of Warehouse staff
    • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
    • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
    • Maintain acceptable inventory accuracy levels through process controls in the warehouse facilities
    • Develop trend analysis tools examining inventory to effectively signal abnormality within the process and provide guidance to correctionAs a leader, you always act with integrity, and the highest ethical standards characterize everything you do

    Basic Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similar; OR a Master's degree and 3 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similar; OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent and 9 years of related professional/military experience to include a background in supply chain, resource planning, production control, inventory management or similar
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
    • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation
    • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
    • SAP or Costpoint ERP experience Preferred Qualifications
    • SQL, Power BI, or Tableau experience
    • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
    • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and

    Jobs Salary Range:
    $98,500 - $147,700 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions
    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
    Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results
    Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives
