    Customer Service Representative

    Pay Rate $18.00 per hour

    Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

    Location: Akron, OH

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepares documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders, Inbound /Outbound Manifests.
    • Examines records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
    • Maintains correspondences with customers, including receipts, and invoices (if required). Documents all correspondences.
    • Provides assistance in answering the telephone, resolving warehouse inventory discrepancies, and providing backup to the warehouse.
    • Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
    • Works with other representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
    • Resolves issues related to overages, shortages, and damages.
    • Schedules appointments.
    Key Requirements:
    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2+ years experience working in a warehousing or equivalent environment, preferred.
    • Good organizational and communication skills
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office Programs, preferred.
    • Basic computer skills required.
    • Prior data entry experience.
    • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
    • Ability to learn quickly works reliably and accurately and performs well with the site team.
