    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Hold a mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.

    2. Two (2) year experience in a supervisory position; preferred.

    3. Five (5) years of aircraft maintenance experience.

    4. Required to relocate to the Newark EWR area.

    KEY ATTRIBUTES FOR A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR:

    The Maintenance Supervisor must be a self-motivated person dedicated to serving others. The successful candidate will be an individual who has a proven track record as an employee willing to go above and beyond on behalf of the company and co-workers. A professional appearance and demeanor are a must at all times. This individual must be a self-starter, who can juggle the many demands and keep maintenance operations running in an efficient manner. A working knowledge of GoJet maintenance procedures and ability to navigate the Microsoft Office Suite, is required along with good written and verbal communication skills. The Maintenance Supervisor must be able to cope with conflicting points of view, function under pressure, and demonstrate discretion, integrity, helpfulness, while maintaining a friendly personality.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Base Manager and is responsible for:

    1. Remaining current with GoJet Airlines policies/procedures and CAMP and ensure personnel under his/her supervision comply with requirements.

    2. Continuously updating Maintenance Control of aircraft status in his/her respective work area.

    3. Ensuring work area is properly maintained and clean.

    4. Ensuring maintenance in progress is accomplished in accordance with proper procedures and completed in the most effective and efficient manner.

    5. Promoting safety as number one priority in both aircraft and personnel.

    6. Reporting all accidents or incidents involving equipment and personnel to the appropriate manager.

    7. Ensuring that the proper tools and equipment are available and utilized, and personnel are trained in their use.

    8. Ensuring Calibrated equipment is maintained, in his assigned work area, in accordance with the Calibrated Tools and Test Equipment Program. (GMM1 CH 4)

    9. Ensuring mechanics are utilizing appropriate technical data.

    10. Reporting malfunctions of ground support equipment to Ground Maintenance and advise appropriate manager or director.

    11. Ensuring any ground equipment, which is not functioning properly, is locked out and tagged.

    12. Ensuring any maintenance, which is not completed, is properly recorded, and turned over to the next shift or individual.

    13. Ensuring maintenance personnel do not exceed duty time limitations by monitoring their work schedules. (14CFR and GMM1 CH1 Part 1.1)

    14. Ensuring mechanics are in compliance with the OJT program. (MXTM CH3)

    15. Authorizing and assigning duties to Maintenance Staff.

    16. Ensuring technician compliance for the Maintenance Log Recording requirement.

    17. Ensuring that any designated inspector utilized during his/her shift is authorized to complete assigned inspections.

    18. Ensure potable water servicing equipment is maintained per GMM and maintain file of SWDA-02 forms for five (5) years. (GMM2 CH 11)

    19. Maintenance Supervisors and Supervising Managers are responsible to inspect the toolboxes of all New-Hire personnel at the time of their arrival for personally owned tools that require calibration. (GMM 1-4.)

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    Included in position but not limited to:

    1. General administrative duties are also part of the role and prioritized time management will be crucial.

    2. Must possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.

    3. Must have an outstanding attendance record in present position.

    4. Must have an above average performance in present position.

    5. Must be someone with dedication and a high level of motivation. Must be able to function independently and think outside the box.

    6. Must be able to work efficiently in stressful situations meeting deadlines.

    7. Must possess excellent communication skills.

    8. Must be able to read and comprehend moderately complex technical material well enough to recognize and correct errors.

    9. Must have effective interpersonal and organizational skills.

    10. Must be able to multi-task; be flexible and adaptable as deadlines
