    The experienced CNC Setup Operator utilizes advanced skills to set up, operate, and optimize CNC machines for precision machining of high-quality components.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Execute intricate machine setups, including loading and securing complex materials and tools
    • Analyze and interpret intricate engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for precise machining
    • Implement advanced adjustments to machine settings, such as cutting strategies and toolpaths, to enhance efficiency and quality
    • Utilize in-depth knowledge to change cutting tools and perform advanced machine maintenance procedures
    • Collaborate closely with programmers and engineers to optimize and refine CNC programs for maximum efficiency
    • Conduct sophisticated quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and implement corrective actions as needed
    • Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex CNC machine issues, minimizing downtime
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Skills/Abilities:

    • Expert proficiency in CNC machine setup and operation, including advanced techniques
    • In-depth understanding of advanced machining principles and techniques
    • Ability to decipher and implement intricate technical drawings and specifications
    • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex CNC machine issues
    • Mastery of tool selection, cutting speeds, and feeds optimization
    • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards of precision
    • Superior organizational and time-management skills in handling complex tasks
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams
    • Experience with precision measurement equipment

    Requirements

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Advanced vocational training or certification in CNC machining, or proven experience as an Advanced CNC Setup Operator
    • In-depth knowledge of various CNC machine types, controls, and advanced machining technologies
    • Proficient computer skills
    • Proficient math skills

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 32 pounds
    • Extended periods of standing and walking
    • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools and materials
