    Technical Accountant

    position. You will be supporting the accounting research for diverse complex transactions. Collaborating with the Senior Director and VP, the role involves presenting findings to executive management (CEO, CFO, and CAO). The role is pivotal in determining accurate accounting treatment and analyzing alternative approaches under US GAAP.

    On-Site; Estero, FL or Oklahoma City, OK.


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to navigate intricate financial transactions.

    Ensure precise accounting and reporting methodologies for activities such as debt offerings, securitizations, derivatives, mergers and acquisitions, and customer and supplier contracts.

    Provide informed counsel to management regarding emerging accounting and regulatory standards from entities like SEC, FASB, and IASB, facilitating strategic decision-making.

    Examine the Company's external financial documentation (e.g. Forms 10-Q, 10-K, S-1, 8-K, Prospectus, and Prospectus Supplements).
    Conduct comprehensive research into technical accounting and reporting issues
    Prepare accounting memos and research papers, and effectively communicate policy and technical intricacies throughout the organization.
    Work with internal and external auditors to address inquiries related to technical accounting and reporting matters.


    Qualifications:
    Essential Big 4 audit experience required
    Minimum of 5-8 years of related work experience in the same field.
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA Required.
    Proficient understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations.
    Prior experience working with external auditor consultations and SEC comment letters.
    Strong execution skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to process improvement.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
    Showcased leadership and delegation skills within a team.
    Track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
    Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and a 5-panel drug test.
