    As a Systems Support and Training Manager at R.W. Selby & Co., you will play a critical role in shaping our real estate strategy through data-driven insights. Primary responsibility and focus will be reviewing and managing Yardi and RealPage platforms, plus training and supporting property management personnel in their usage. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, a keen eye for detail, and property management experience. This position primarily reports to the Director of Property Management (DPM).

    The Systems Support and Training Manager is expected to take a hands-on approach to necessary duties to accomplish objectives as well as to facilitate the successful performance of others, including but not limited to:

    Duties & Responsibilities

    · System Administration and Support: Provide support on managing the company's Yardi and RealPage systems to assist Property Management personnel, Accounting, and Asset Management. Responsibilities include serving as the software's Administrator/Superuser, HelpDesk Support, managing user access, controlling role permissions, setting up new property profiles, organizing report schedules, among other tasks.

    · Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of Yardi and RealPage platforms to support business needs. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal teams.

    · Collaboration/Training: Work closely with property management teams to provide support and insights. Offer systems-related training along with providing best practices to both new and existing employees.

    · Tool and Process Improvement: Continuously seek and implement improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Develop and implement best practices and efficient operational workflows.

    · Data Collection and Management: Maintain a database of real estate market data, including property prices, rental rates, occupancy rates, and demographic trends.

    Required Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

    · Minimum of 5 years of experience with Yardi and RealPage platforms.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

    · Strong understanding of real estate markets and financial concepts.

    · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    · Strong communication and presentation skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · In-depth knowledge of Yardi and RealPage products and their databases.

    · Property management training and experience.

    · Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

    · Solid understanding of database principles and user security protocols. Skilled in SQL queries and crafting custom reports.

    · Proven skill in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities, with a focus on organizing a streamlined workflow and assessing the urgency of different issues.
