    Description
    Position Purpose
    Provide flight, simulator, and ground instruction in accordance with UCM and FAA regulations and procedures.

    Maintains student training records, ensures that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each of their assigned students.

    Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent, Formal training (specify)

    Other Education & Formal Training Flight Training:
    Must be FAA Certified Flight Instructor.

    Computer Skills Word-Processing Experience Other Experience Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position:

    Criminal History check, Subject to random drug testing, Driver's license Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements FAA Certified Flight Instructor with Second Class Medical Certificates.

    Comprehensive knowledge of FARs relating to pilot schools and flight operations and FAA regulations concerning Part 141 Flight School Operations and Part 61.

    Developed skills in flight safety and flight instruction.
    Aircraft piloting skills including familiarity with and ability to perform required flight maneuvers and procedures.
    Knowledge of and ability to apply effective instructional technique in the classroom and in flight.
    Knowledge of appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations.
    Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced and noisy environment while exercising sound judgment at all times.
    Strong customer service skills
