    HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

    About the unit:

    • Number of Beds -26
    • Number of Staff – 112
    • Type of staff:
      • Day Shift – 1 CNC(TL), 14 nurses, 2-3 ST, 2 unit clerks
      • Night Shift – 1 CNC(TL),, 12 nurses, 2 ST, 1 unit clerk
    • Patient Ratios – 1:1 high risk labor&c-sections; 1:2 antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, PP on mag;  1:3 PP mag no baby, Out patients
    • Type of equipment – Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN(GE) monitor
    • EMR – CPN gold, Meditech

    Typical procedures performed on unit:  

    • C-sections, Inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, Doppler

    2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required

    ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required
