Description
The RN in the Emergency Department provides nursing care to patients presenting in the Emergency Department and collaborates with other health team members in the provision of care.#
The nurse must demonstrate knowledge of their individual role and responsibilities in emergency / trauma procedures, intervene appropriately in crisis situations, and act quickly and efficiently under time constraints required.
#The nurse must be able to triage (prioritize care).# Care must be given according to legal requirements and evidence safe guarded as necessary. Standards of care are followed as outlined in Nursing Policy # Procedural Manual. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.# Is expected to work; varying hours, holidays, and weekends.### #
