    • Your WayAs a Manager in our Tax service line, you will be responsible for the following: Provides top level review of federal and multi state income tax returns for individuals, and trusts & estates and also reviews related income tax workpapersLeads teams of seniors and staff accountantsOversees planning and scheduling of engagementsEnsures quality of work productMonitors work flowCoaches/mentors individual team membersProvides formal and informal feedbackCommunicates progress to partnersDevelops business with both existing and new clientsDevelops and maintains strong client relationships with client personnel and prospective clientsWorks closely with clients to advise on income tax issues and related tax planningTo be successful, these are the skills and experience you will need: Undergraduate degree in accounting; Master's in Tax a plusCPA certificate or JD5 8 years of tax experience requiredSolid background in high net worth individuals, trusts & estatesStrong organizational and management skillsExcellent written, oral communication and documentation skillsAbility to articulate complex tax matters in 'business' languageAbility to integrate and team with othersAbility to work effectively in a demanding, fast paced and complex environmentStrong team player with emphasis on the continued growth and development of team membersExcellent analytical skills and judgementFlexible Time OffMasters of Taxation tuition reimbursementIncentive compensation for new business generationReimbursement for professional organization fees, such as AICPA, CalCPA membershipPaid parkingCasual dress code year roundMeals provided during busy seasonDrinks and snacks provided year roundReimbursement for community service related runs & walksHealth and wellness activities such as flu shots and massages401(k)Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability InsuranceThe ordinance requires employers to state, in all job solicitations, postings and advertisements, that the employer will consider applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Fair Chance Initiative.
