- Reliable transportation is required for sample collections at patients' locations.
- Providers must supply their own gloves, sharps container, and arrange for appropriate disposal services.
- Access to a smartphone, computer/laptop, and printer is essential for managing orders and documentation.
- Implement procedures to protect and dispose of Protected Health Information (PHI) securely.
- Contact each patient within 24 hours of receiving the assignment.
- Schedule appointments in a timely manner (within 1 to 3 days).
- Maintain clear communication with the office regarding scheduling, patient inquiries, or draw issues.
- Collect specimens precisely following the kit instructions to ensure accurate testing results.
- Pack and ship samples on the same day using provided FedEx materials.
- Invoice promptly for services rendered to ensure timely payment processing.
- Demonstrated expertise in phlebotomy, particularly in venipuncture.
- Minimum of 1 full year of phlebotomy experience within the last 3 calendar years is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions.
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients who may be vulnerable.
- Adherence to established protocols and exercising sound judgment in clinical situations.
- Organized approach to patient communication and scheduling, with regular office updates.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely execution of all draws.
- Technical proficiency in managing electronic communications (printing, scanning, uploading documents).

JOB DETAILS:
We are currently seeking dedicated contract mobile phlebotomists to collect samples from patients in their homes or workplaces through nasal swabs or venipuncture. You will draw samples for blood-based tests that leverage genomics and proteomics to provide personalized insights into tumor biology. This role includes conducting COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic individuals and those who have previously recovered from the virus. Comprehensive virtual training will be provided for all sample types and kits.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This is a contract position, with payments processed within 30 days of invoice submission.
