    What You'll Do:

    As a LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse, you will carry out our Mission of Love by coordinating, delegating, and administering total care for residents on a specified shift and unit.

    Our LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the following:
    • Working with all nursing personnel to develop comprehensive care plans based on an accurate initial assessment of resident needs and strengths
    • Providing work schedules and assignments to a group of non-exempt employees or a small group of professionals
    • Conducting performance reviews, recommends and may conduct disciplinary action and resolution.
    Requirements for an LPN:
    • A Temporary Practice Permit for a Graduate Practical Nurse or an LPN License.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • A sincere interest in and concern for quality of care for the elderly and for those with limited physical and/or mental capacity.
    • Effective communication orally and in writing with supervisors, subordinates, peers, residents and their families, visitors to the facility, and other departmental personnel.
    • Sound nursing judgment in the performance of responsibilities.
    • The ability to analyze the effectiveness of medication and treatments and the potential for adverse reactions.
    • Long-term care experience, preferred.
