    Description

    Harkcon is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a compliance analyst for a civil rights and civil liberties program office. Duties include:

    • Provide compliance management support
    • Conduct project planning and management
    • Create or update business processes
    • Maintain and analyze program data via database
    • Review documents, identify and evaluate issues related to Civil Rights / Civil Liberties
    • Prepare oral or written work products

    Minimum qualifications required for the position include:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Proven track record in compliance management, business process engineering and data management/analysis
    • 10+ years of demonstrated experience performing program support for a government organization (years of education count toward 10 years IF education is related)
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
    • Must be willing to work onsite in Washington, DC
    • Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities at once
    • Must possess strong interpersonal communications and teamwork skills
    • Must be an exceptional writer
    • Enjoys a team-oriented environment, but able to function independently
    • Takes ownership of projects and can prioritize assignments without supervision
    • U.S. citizenship

    Preferred qualifications required for the position include:

    • General knowledge of or experience with civil rights and civil liberties - 1 year
    • Current DHS suitability
