- Location: Greenwood, SC

- Pay: $34 per hour- negotiable with experience
- Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan and co-teach inclusive lessons that meet the needs of students with disabilities in the general education classroom.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring that accommodations and modifications are provided to support their academic and social-emotional growth.
- Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities, utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies and differentiation techniques.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction and interventions as needed to address individual learning goals.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, colleagues, and support staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student support and achievement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification).
- Previous experience working with elementary students with disabilities, preferably in an inclusive classroom setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
