    Statement of Purpose:


    The Registered Nurse maintains responsibility for the provision of professional nursing care demonstrated through the nursing process involving assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.

    The Registered Nurse must demonstrate a competent level of behavior in a professional role, including activities related to promotion of quality of care, performance appraisal, education, collegiality, ethics, collaboration, research and resource utilization (Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice - ANA, 2010).


    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

    Certification / License:
    Current RN Licensure in Massachusetts. Current CPR skills and ACLS certifications.

    ACLS not required on these floors: 5th Floor, 4th Floor, Consigli, Infusion, IV, Wound CareACLS required on these floors only: ICU, Draper PCU, MP-1, Gannett, Float Pool, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath LabExperience: ICU experience preferred

    Shift/Hours:

    32 Hours Two (2) shifts 7pm - 7am, One (1) shift 11pm - 7amEvery third weekend and every other holiday MRMC Differentials:Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends.

    All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
