    Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Collections Attorney with extensive experience handling HOA collections cases and at least 3 years of legal collections experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires expertise in legal collections, FDCPA compliance, and litigation, along with strong case management abilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling a high-volume caseload effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct initial case intake and delinquency evaluations.

    • Manage pre- and post-trial negotiations, including Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

    • Direct the preparation and approval of pleadings for county, district, and bankruptcy courts.

    • Oversee and execute post-judgment collection efforts, including garnishments, interrogatories, stipulations, and foreclosures.

    • Prepare for and conduct hearings, trials, and appeals.

    • Perform legal research as needed.

    • Monitor and evaluate bankruptcies and foreclosure proceedings.

    • Maintain and review case status reports.

    • Engage in business development activities to support firm growth.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Active license to practice law in Colorado.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal collections practice.

    • Advanced knowledge of FDCPA and other relevant legal frameworks.

    • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with sound judgment and discretion.

    • Strong oral and written communication abilities.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

    • Experience with case management and billing software.

    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

    Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

    • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.

    • Ability to focus on a computer screen for prolonged duration.

    • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds as needed.
