SCOPE OF POSITION

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist conducts individual, family sessions, and groups to establish/review goals and document progress.
Facilitates group therapy modalities within their practice scope.
Develops master treatment plans, attends Treatment Team, and completes assessments.
Monitors performance improvement processes and maintains positive relationships with staff.
Continues professional development through workshops/seminars and public speaking/community education opportunities.
Meets organizational quality metrics and productivity metrics.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a mental health related field.
Must possess excellent verbal and written skills.
Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics, standards, and relevant state and federal laws.
Demonstrates understanding of psychopathology, diagnostic terminology, and psychiatric treatments.
Skills in interviewing, report writing, clinical assessment, and consultation.
Valid and active Therapist licensure in the appropriate state.
CPR and de-escalation program annual certification required.
