    This start-up has strong financial backing, and looking for a GUI Staff Engineer to take their products and team forward.

    The company have achieved a considerable Series-A investment.

    ????They have built their prototype for a novel type of sensing technology, and are now building out their software system and GUI for specific clinical applications.

    ???? So this is really a hands on position joining a new venture at the early stages (team of 7 in software), to provide the expertise on front-end innovation, and next generation of medical device for clinical use by physicians.

    ????RoleAs Staff Front End Software Engineer, you will contribute to the GUI of product in Qt/QML, write enabling frameworks, set up the GUI architecture and implement GUI features.

    ????You will help establish coding practices that foster high-growth teams and comply with industry standards.

    Being a team player and working with software infrastructure, clinical, UX, and systems engineers to optimize system prototype and product designs.


    Responsibilities :
    Translate user needs (patients, medical professionals), clinical requirements, and customer feedback into intuitive front-end experiences.
    Develop innovative GUI architectures, user-friendly visual designs, and efficient workflows for a breakthrough diagnostic imaging system.
    Design and implement innovative GUI features that revolutionize the diagnostic imaging experience.

    Work seamlessly within a cross-functional team of software, clinical, systems, mechanical, and electrical engineers to build groundbreaking medical devices and applications.

    Create and maintain clear, comprehensive design documentation to ensure project clarity and knowledge transfer.
    Actively participate in design discussions and contribute expertise during code reviews to guarantee optimal user experience and software quality.


    Experience Requirements:


    7+ years as Software Engineer leading the developing user-facing applications with modern GUI (Qt/QML).Ideally comfortable mentoring junior developersAble to act as Project Lead for GUI.Knowledge of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patternsExperience with GUI development for C++BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentDesirable Skills or Experience:OpenGLMedical imaging; DICOM / HL7, PACS, patient management systems (PMS), electronic medical records (EMR)HL7 / DICOMInterfacing with hardwareBenefitsWe are an innovative company that invests in our team and offers great opportunities for career growthCompetitive salary of $180,000 - $200,000 per year incl.
