Sr. CADD Technician - Folsom, United States - R.E.Y. Engineers, Inc.

Description

Under direction of a Principal or Senior Land Surveyor, this position will assist with the execution of work for our clients involved in the performance of land surveying services for land development and public and utility infrastructure improvement projects. This position requires proficiency with surveying calculations and software, an understanding of the Public Land Survey System (PLSS), some understanding of the CA LS Act and Subdivision Map Act, and requires effective oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to complete projects independently and or in small teams.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 5 to 15 years of experience

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in Autocad Civil 3D version 2019 or newer
• Ability to lead and manage the development and completion of specific tasks and projects
• Excellent understanding of survey drawing methods and principles, layers and symbols
• Ability to accomplish tasks and projects with very little to no oversight
• Ability to research for data necessary to complete projects and tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word
• Ability to assist with preparing concise, accurate technical reports and presentations
• Ability to make revisions and check the work of other technicians
• Ability to provide responsive high-quality courteous service to clients, coworkers, representatives of outside agencies, consultants, contractors, and members of the public
• Ability to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in a timely manner
• Knowledge of construction methods to aid in extraction of topographic mapping
• Ability to work on various and/or multiple projects of different size and difficulty
• Ability to navigate typical company file structure and set up new project folders
