    Job Summary

    A busy Neurology practice in Southern California seeks a part-time Nurse Practitioner to transition to full-time. The ideal candidate will have some Neurology experience and be willing to work weekends.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess, plan, and provide patient care in collaboration with attending physicians.
    • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, medical diagnoses, and treatment planning.
    • Diagnose neurological conditions and implement interventions with physician consultation.
    • Document patient charts daily using hospital EMR systems.

    Key Functions:

    • Interview patients and construct comprehensive medical histories.
    • Perform neurological physical examinations under the scope of nurse practitioner practice.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
    • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams.

    Requirements

    Education and Licensure:

    • Certified Nurse Practitioner license in California.
    • Current DEA license.
    • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification.
