    The Principal Optical Engineer is responsible for opto-electronic components and systems that drive significant impact to the organization. Within Engineering R&D there are opportunities to learn about our technology and develop your skills in analysis and modeling.

    This position is part of the Engineering R&D organization, Optics team member, and will be in in Sunnyvale, CA with full time and some remote work as appropriate for the position and timing.

    Work on engineering designs for current and future systems
    Work on Sustaining projects
    Strong skills in component and subsystem testing via automated measurements.

    5 years experiences with opto-electronics systems, and knowledge of fluorescence processes, molecular biochemistry, biomed materials and processing, optical elements sourcing, and fabrication, and PCR fundamentals.
