    Overview:

    Axient seeking qualified candidates to support the Aviation and Missile Center on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

    As a Contract Analyst supporting the AvMC (Aviation and Missile Center) you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and managing contractual agreements to ensure compliance with legal and business requirements. This role involves conducting contract reviews, negotiating terms, and drafting contracts. Additionally, this position involves maintaining accurate contract records, facilitating contract execution, and providing support. The contract analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring contract compliance and supporting effective contract management processes within the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    Duties will include, but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for all aspects of contract management from the award of new contracts to the liquidation of contractual obligations
    • Prepare, review, and expedite contract requirement packages (CRP) to meet the customer's suspense and ensure the technical requirements are in scope of the Performance Work Statements (PWS)
    • Responsible for advising management, senior level engineers, and staff in development of contract documents (Performance Work Statements, Statement of Work, Independent Government Estimate, evaluation criteria, etc.) in accordance with new and established regulations and guidelines
    • Provide input into the use of current and proposed automation systems through which contract documents and actions are executed and improving workflow of critical contract purchases/requirements
    Qualifications:

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Must currently possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Engineering, Education, or Science. Bachelor's with at least 5 years of related experience

    • Proficient use in Word, PowerPoint, and emphasis on Excel
    • Good interpersonal skills to be able to interrelate with technical, logistical, and business personnel to coordinate program funding requirements
