Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide influence and convince others particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business Work impacts an entire area which eventually affects the overall performance effectiveness of sub-function/job family Interface with support bankers in underwriting requests for commercial credit extensions for new existing clients ownership responsibilities for sound credit decisions compliance with internal procedures/credit risk policy guidelines standards Prepare detailed written credit summary of commercial applicants requesting credit by analyzing business interpreting finance need identifying strengths prevailing risk factors rendering final credit decision Perform detailed financial analysis on companies including trend ratio analysis interpret financial information Perform industry geographical research due diligence as needed Assists business unit goals by continuous identification of process improvements efficiencies that reduce costs improve customer service levels Work with management team on prioritization implementation approved actions Provide backup support Credit Underwriting Group Manager lead projects initiatives mentor lower level Credit Officers as needed Other duties as required to support business unit company goals
