    Role Description & Responsibilities
    Our R&D Development team is looking for a Software Development Intern at our office located in Waltham, MA. This is a paid 6-month internship. We are in a hybrid work environment.

    As a Software Development Intern in the Cost Intelligence domain that extends Dassault Systemes' ability to help customers to manage sustainable innovation by optimizing tradeoffs between Business, Performance, Quality and Environmental aspects.

    You will research and evaluate costing application and develop code to our understanding with respect to best practices, standards and methodologies used to manage currency exchange rates in various industries across the global environment.

    Additionally, you will contribute to the development of Cost Management topics such as:

    Analyze the logic and performance of the code procedures that are used for large cost computations and rollup process

    Investigate and prototype - Live or On-demand Feed and synchronizing the Currency Exchange rates

    Create a Dashboard for stakeholders to understand the Product cost, profitability and margins

    During your internship, you will focus on creating data science experiences to enrich Costing intelligence solution for optimizing Product Costing while gaining extensive experience with Dassault Systemes innovative technologies and support our mission through a variety of activities.

    Qualifications


    Strong knowledge and experience in Web application development tools - Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML technology

    Knowledge of working and developing Java REST web services - in Linux or Windows environment

    Business insights & Analytics using data visualization tools & machine learning methodologies

    Develop and optimize machine learning algorithms for Cost estimation prediction and risk predication

    Exposure to AI methodologies such as NLP, Large Language Models (LLM) etc.

    Willingness to learn new technology products to support the job

    Strong communication skills

    Highly motivated

    Attention to detail

    Creative

    Actively enrolled in a program at a college or university for the duration of the internship

    Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0

    Ability to shift directions quickly when priorities change

    Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing

    Ability to work onsite for the duration of the internship
