    Mayo Clinic is searching for a dynamic leader to serve as the Chair of its Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at our academic medical center in Jacksonville, Florida.

    About the Practice

    Mayo Clinic's Psychiatry and Psychology Department serves as a consultative practice providing care to patients referred internally by Mayo Clinic providers in support of the integrated care of programs and services at Mayo Clinic. The practice currently has 6 psychiatrists, 12 psychologists, and 2 advanced practice providers on staff.

    Position Description

    The Chair will provide overall strategic direction and oversee the ongoing performance of the department, be responsible for recruitment and retention of outstanding staff, and ensure the alignment and development of critical resources to achieve goals for each of the three Mayo shields: clinical practice, research, and education. The Chair will maintain part of their FTE for clinical practice.
