    Description

    The Director, Auxiliary Services provides administrative oversight to all Auxiliary Services including student dining, the bookstore, and student center operations. The Director ensures that Auxiliary Services meets the university's mission, goals and needs, while promoting an inclusive, welcoming environment and enhancing the students experiences.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, review and update policies and procedures that enhance the operations to the card access system, Student Center, Farrell Hall and Retail Center. Assist in account reconciliations between CS Gold, Canopy and Banner. Conduct monthly reconciliations of departmental accounts.
    • Assist in the efficient coordination of special events held in the Memorial Student Center. Manage contracts associated with Student Center Operations (to include bookstore and dining contracts)Manage Student Center Operations, Farrell Hall Laundry, Auxiliary Enterprises and Retail Center staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Review and approve all administrative documents related to Student Center Operations (to include Farrell Hall, Retail Center facility Operations and Auxiliary Enterprises) and ensure compliance with all associated policies and guidelines. Verify and process all invoices from dining contractor, Student Center Operations, and bookstore. Manage all students, staff, dining and flex accounts and process adjustment vouchers.
    • Oversee the contract for custodial and facility maintenance services of Student Park, Farrell Hall, Retail Center, Auxiliary Enterprises and Memorial Student Center.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Education & Experience:

    • Bachelorâs degree.
    • Ten years of related experience in management.

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
    • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree
    • 10 or more years of experience auxiliary services with a higher education focus/background in Student Center and Retail Operations.
