Staffing Now, a division of SNI Companies , has partnered with our client in hiring a Benefits Specialist - Disability.This is a full-time opportunity working with a local non-profit.The position has a direct working relationship with the client in helping them get benefits that are tailored to their specific needs.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with client household, the team, and community service providers to formulate a comprehensive benefits acquisition and expansion strategy, aligning with household stability objectives.
• Execute the benefits acquisition plan, offering individual and group support services tailored to the specific needs of a client's household.
• Forge strong partnerships with funding agencies and other programs to access specific benefits and resources, including Division of Housing voucher programs.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and expertise in field related best practices and standards.
• Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work or related experience.
• 1+ years of public benefits and voucher administration experience and implementation
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must possess a Colorado driver's license and personal vehicle.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position starts at $21.00 an hour.Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience.
