    Policy and Strategy Subject Matter Expert

    Position: BryceTech is seeking an experienced FEMA CBRN Policy and Strategy SME to support the DHS FEMA, Office of Response and Recovery, CBRN program, supporting the Office of Emerging Threats Professional and Technical Services Contract.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Provides insight and advice concerning strategic direction and applicability of current, industry standard or innovative solutions based on in-depth understanding of the latest developments relevant to a specialized functional area.
    2. Responsible for providing high-level vision to program/project manager or senior leadership to influence objectives of complex efforts.
    3. Provides guidance on functional procedures/processes/policies reflecting detailed knowledge of functional areas.
    4. May lead in-depth research in support of studies and analyses.
    5. Supports assessing and analyzing key policy issues and nuclear security events, promoting, and protecting FEMA/CBRN equities. Tasks may include but are not limited to:
    • CBRN Research and Analysis
    • CBRN Policy and Doctrine Support
    • Special Projects
    • Policy support to the Federal Radiological Preparedness Coordinating Committee (FRPCC)
    • Planning support to the Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nuclear Program Plans
    • Specialized Technical Assistance and Operational Support
    • CBRN Training and Exercise Support
    • Interagency Modeling Atmospheric and Assessment Center (IMAAC) Program Support
    • Regional Coordinator Support

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
    • Each Subject Matter Expert typically has a minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in their specific area of expertise.
    • Previous experience supporting DHS FEMA is required, and DHS FEMA CBRN experience is highly desirable.
    • A TS/SCI Security clearance is required.

    Position contingent on BryceTech winning a prime bid on the DHS FEMA CBRN: Office Of Emerging Threats Professional And Technical Services Contract.

    Position contingent on ability to pass and maintain DHS Suitability.
