    Project Overview:
    This role supports Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) shared services, focusing on Construction, Design, and Plant support.
    This is NOT an Environmental, Health & Safety role- just Health & SafetyThis position is a long-term (12 month) temporary position working full-time, on-site with paid OT and regional travel Payrate: up to $40/hr (DOE)


    Responsibilities:
    Review design documents/submittals and health & safety plans.
    Develop templates and guidance for future submissions.
    Attend construction progress meetings.
    Perform site visits to construction projects.
    Follow up on deficiencies with Construction Managers.
    Schedule meetings with relevant stakeholders.
    React to meetings by reviewing proposed equipment and developing safety plans.
    Collaborate with Canal Managers/Supervisors on addressing action items and standards.
    Assist Canal EHS reps as needed, including regional travel and occasional overtime.

    Skills:
    Strong computer skills in MS Office suite and communication skills.
    Minimum 1 year of experience in health and safety program implementation in an industrial setting.

    Education & Certifications:
    Associate's Degree in a science field preferred.
