    About the Role

    We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our innovative team at Magnolia River, shaping the future of natural gas distribution and transmission pipeline facilities. As a key member of our team, you will engage in various tasks, including modeling, designing, drafting, and field work, contributing to every phase of the project lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Read and interpret data available from design locates, field work, and other data collection.
    • Ability to produce basic P&ID and compare basic layouts.
    • Understand permit process for permit tracking and approvals, HDD basics, and as-built process.
    • Ensure project scope, schedule, and cost requirements of client, internal, and external stakeholders are met.
    • Prepare written plans, reports, or procedures to address specific project needs.
    • Develop and maintain a professional rapport with Project Manager, Asst. Project Manager, and project team members.
    • Study federal, state, and client requirements to develop a better understanding of gas system designs.
    • Maintain target billable goals.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical is preferred) AND 2 years of experience working in an engineering environment.
    • Natural gas pipeline experience and/or other utility is preferred.
    • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred.
