    The Territory Manager role generates sales of products and equipment to existing and new customers within an assigned sales territory.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Generate sales, improve market share, and increase income by calling on target, current, and prospective customers.
    • Utilize the computer as a sales aid and be competent in MWI email, Outlook promotions, and the MWI Territory Manager website.
    • Satisfy customer needs by selecting appropriate products and services.
    • Establish relationships with veterinarians and clinics.
    • Review and utilize sales analysis and top supplier reports in pre and post call planning.
    • Maintain a written call cycle consistent with territory changes.
    • Stay current on the full line of products and services offered by MWI.
    • Demonstrate competency in MWI sales programs, promotions, and products.
    • Establish account profiles for customers within the territory.
    • Be responsive to customer communication and internal team members.
    • Detail and/or demonstrate new products and promotions.
    • Ensure timely reporting.
    • Meet sales goals and budget numbers.
    • Act as a resource for customers in business matters.
    • Resolve customer issues promptly.
    • Maintain a professional vehicle.
    • Work closely with key vendors and Product Specialists.
    • Maintain support material and detail aids in the automobile.
    • Comply with requests from Regional Managers and leadership.
    • Participate in conference calls and meetings as requested.

    Experience and Educational Requirements:

    A bachelor's degree and one to three years of outside sales experience are desired, preferably in animal health.

    Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills are necessary, along with a proven ability to sell.

    A valid driver's license and good driving record are mandatory.
