    Summary "This is a public notice flyer for a position with NAVFAC HAWAII." Duties


    • You will interpret instructions and specifications in performing tools and parts attendant work.
    • You will follow trade safety practices and guidelines in completing assignments.
    • You will identify dead stock material, items with rapid turnover rate, or those with a history of being out of stock.
    • You will determine methods of placement, arrangement, and rotation of tools and parts in consideration of shelf life, age, and code date.
    • You will examine tools and material prior to issuance and upon return for damage or worn condition

    Physical Effort:

    May lift heavier items with weight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers

    Work Conditions:
    Work is generally done in areas that are well lighted, heated and ventilated
    The attendant may occasionally work in areas that are drafty
    The work is sometimes dirty, dusty and greasy
    The attendant is frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises
