- A minimum of 3 years experience as an NCS, 5 years preferred
- A well-suited demeanor for working with newborns
- Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
- Education (NCS certification) or equivalent clinical knowledge of postpartum recovery and healing
- Strong background in feeding support and techniques for reflux baby
- Willingness to partner alongside the parents' goals for sleep training
- Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: bottle preparation/sanitation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and laundry)
- A clean background to pass our comprehensive background check and social media checks
- A Driver's License and clean driving record.

Description
Live-in/out Newborn Care Specialist required for a warm and loving Tribeca family with a newborn (born Feb The family is seeking a knowledgeable individual who can apply their experience of maternal health and normal infant growth and development to provide exemplary emotional and physical support to both baby and parents. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, infant feeding, newborn hygiene, the transition from snoo to crib and sleep training. You must be engaged, safety conscious and have excellent communication skills and be able to support the family with a strong empathetic approach. As current parents to a toddler, the family are looking for someone up to date with all current methods and techniques across all aspects of newborn care to help guide, support and educate them. The ideal candidate is calm, nurturing, positive and looking to join a caring and happy family dynamic.
Location: Tribeca, NY and the Hamptons
Start date: ASAP through August
Days/times: Initial 4-6 weeks overnight care only in the city (12hr overnights). Family will be spending most of July and August in the Hamptons and position to be live in (12hr overnights) during this time. Family also open to additional hours during the day for the ideal candidate.
Children: Newborn (born Feb 2024) and toddler (born 2020) * Family does have a nanny for the toddler.
Conditions: $40-50 per hour*
