Job summary
The National Nurse Residency Program is a 52-week program designed to provide superior peer and leadership support along with a comprehensive education experience.During the first 18 weeks, the Nurse Resident is paired with a preceptor for shifts on their unit and will complete online learning modules, in-person lectures, and out rotations to other units.
During week 19-52, the Resident is on their own working their shifts in their department and will continue with online learning, in-person lectures, a mentor program ,and an Evidence-Based Project (implementation of the project not required).
