WSP represents multiple clients within the mortgage sector. We have current opportunities with direct lenders, brokers, retail shops, wholesale shops, and additional business models.

We are seeking an experienced Residential Mortgage Loan Originator with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the mortgage industry and a demonstrated ability to generate a production volume of at least $1 million/month. As a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and closing residential mortgage loans while providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the loan process.

• Anaheim
• San Diego
• Los Angeles
• Corona

Responsibilities:

• Originate residential mortgage loans by working with borrowers to assess their financial situation, understand their needs, and recommend suitable loan products.
• Manage a pipeline of mortgage loan applications from origination to closing, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the status of loan applications and address any questions or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing residential mortgage lending.
• Collect and review all necessary documentation from borrowers, including income verification, tax returns, and credit reports, to facilitate the underwriting process.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, such as real estate agents, builders, and financial planners, to generate leads and drive business growth.
• Stay informed about market trends, interest rates, and changes in lending guidelines to provide informed advice to clients and effectively position loan products.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process, addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally and ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for borrowers.
• Meet or exceed established production goals, including loan volume and revenue targets, on a consistent basis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator.
• Proven track record of generating a minimum of $1 million in loan production annually.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan structuring, and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and business partners.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Active NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System) registration in good standing.
