    Patient Information Coordinator Position Summary:

    • Serves as communication resource and coordinator of information for patients, families, visitors and members of the health care team
    • The Patient Information Coordinator handles all non-clinical administrative aspects of the patient care unit
    • Performs clerical and support duties necessary to prepare and maintain inpatient and outpatient medical records
    • Performs a variety of integral activities to assist medical, nursing and administrative staff to meet unit, department, and institutional needs
    • Offers friendly and courteous assistance to every patient, their families, and health care team members to ensure a collaborative environment in which patients may have a positive experience while at Johns Hopkins

    Education and Work Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Six months of related experience

    Shift:

    • Full Time
    • 40 Hours Per Week
    • Rotating Shift
