A leading finance firm has an exciting vacancy for a Head of Software Development within their Equities Technology space.

The successful candidate will have experience of leading teams within the finance domain, knowledge of Equities, experience of risk (Intraday), and an attitude conducive to securing the best from their colleagues.

Development Lead for Counterpart Credit Risk Platforms covering existing platforms and calculation of core Counterparty Risk measuresLiaise with Project and Program managers to provide development plans and capacity and to provide transparency into development capabilities and capacity to support program.

Build a strong development team with the right balance of internal development and external vendor teams.
Oversee the development activity of vendor partner teams.

Define and implement technology strategy to meet challenges of Counterparty Credit risk, in light of increased regulation and increased capital pressure.

Define and maintain best practices in software development.
Liaise with counterparts across Risk and Front Office technology to ensure a consistent technology strategy.
Liaise with Production support teams to ensure on-going platform stability and the integrity of all software release.#J-18808-Ljbffr
